May 1992 to Present – Self-Employed; Law Offices of Douglas L. Rankin, 2335 Tamiami Trail North, Suite 308, Naples, Florida 34103. Attorney practicing in the areas of real estate, wills, trusts and estates, corporate and business law. Member of the American, Florida and Collier County Bar Associations and along with the courts of Florida. Admitted to practice before the Federal District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the United States Tax Court. A member of the Florida Bar Sections on: real property, wills, trusts and estates law, tax law, and corporate banking and business law. Board Certified Wills, Trusts and Estates Attorney from 1989 to July 2004. Board Certified Real Estate Attorney from 1993 to July 2003. In July of 2008, Douglas L. Rankin was duly appointed by Governor, Charlie Crist, to be a member of the Judicial Nominating Commission, Twentieth Judicial Circuit. VA Accredited.

Personal contact and handling of clients and their problems with creditors, debtors, banks, Internal Revenue Service, and other Federal, State, and local agencies with reference to tax, accounting and other business related problems, including the purchase and sale of businesses.
